Brown finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown lost 6-5 to Briane Meilleur (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 5-1 win over Tiffany McLean (Portage la Prairie, MB). Brown won 7-2 against Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB), then won 6-5 against Barb Spencer (winnnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
