Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR) lost 6-5 to Steffen Walstad (Oppdal, NOR) in the Final of the Norwegian Curling Championship, held February 26 - 28, 2016 in Stavanger, Norway.

Ulsrud finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ulsrud defeated Oystein Sorum (Oslo, NOR) 10-1, then won 10-2 against Kristian Foss (Oppdal, NOR) and 9-1 against Christer Wibe (Halden, NOR). Ulsrud won 7-1 against Jorn Nordhagen (Lillehammer, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
