In their opening game, Scoffin defeated Corey Chester (Victoria, BC) 7-4, then won 22-2 against Justin Nillson (Kelowna, BC) and 6-5 against Mat Ring (Regina, SK). Scoffin won 6-1 against Kyler Kleibrink (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
