Sena Nakajima (Karuizawa, JPN) finished 5-3 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nakajima lost 9-2 to Rina Ida (Sapporo, JPN), then responded with a 9-6 win over Japan's Mizuki Kitaguchi. Nakajima went on to lose 8-2 against Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, JPN). Nakajima responded with a 10-4 win over Japan's Misaki Tanaka. Nakajima won 8-3 against Emi Sato (Kyoto, JPN), then won 7-5 against Touri Koana (Yamanashi, JPN) and 9-7 against Natsuki Saito (Aomori, JPN). Nakajima went on to lose 7-3 against Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Nakajima earned 8.465 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Japan Curling Championships, moving up 159 spots the World Ranking Standings into 188th place overall with 8.465 total points. Nakajima ranks 170th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.465 points earned so far this season.
