Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) lost 5-4 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Humpty's Champions Cup, held April 25 - 30, 2017 in Calgary, Alberta. Hasselborg finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hasselborg defeated Jamie Sinclair (Blaine, USA) 6-4, then won 8-5 against Harrison. Hasselborg went on to lose 8-1 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Zurich, SUI). Hasselborg responded with a 7-4 win over Bingyu Wang (HARBIN, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Humpty's Champions Cup, Hasselborg take home 57.906 world rankings points along with the $29,000CDN prize. Hasselborg move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 22.653 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 6th overall with 536.181 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
