Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) lost 6-2 to Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) in the Final of the Humpty's Champions Cup, held April 25 - 30, 2017 in Calgary, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Koe won 6-4 over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2017 Humpty's Champions Cup in Calgary, Alberta; and won 7-3 over John Morris (Vernon, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Humpty's Champions Cup in Calgary, Alberta;

Koe finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Greg Balsdon (Kingston, ON) 6-4, then went on to lose 7-6 against John Epping (Toronto, ON). Koe responded with a 6-5 win over John Shuster (Duluth, USA). Koe won 7-3 against Edin in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Humpty's Champions Cup, Koe take home 61.188 world rankings points along with the $24,000CDN prize, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 52.775 after improving upon their best so far this season. Koe ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 383.171 points earned so far this season.
