In their opening game, Einarson lost 6-4 to Silvana Tirinzoni (Zurich, SUI), then responded with a 5-2 win over Tracy Fleury (Sudbury, NONT). Einarson went on to lose 6-5 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB). Einarson lost 7-4 to Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
