Nina Roth (Blaine, USA) qualified for the 2016 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Jacqueline Harrison (Mississauga, ON). of the 2016 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Cranbrook, British Columbia;

Roth finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roth defeated Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) 8-3, then won 5-3 against Harrison and 10-2 against Corryn Brown (Kamloops - New Westminster - Nanaimo, BC). Roth won 7-3 against Marla Mallett (Walnut Grove, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
