Tardi finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tardi lost 6-4 to Brown, then responded with a 6-3 win over Jean-Michel Menard (Gatineau, QC). Tardi won 10-5 against Andrew Bilesky (New Westminster , BC). Tardi went on to lose 7-5 against Glenn Howard (Penetanguishene, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
Tardi earned 20.268 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2, moving up 39 spots the World Ranking Standings into 93rd place overall with 48.066 total points. Tardi ranks 72nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 27.127 points earned so far this season.
