Murdoch went on to lose 8-3 against John Morris (Vernon, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Murdoch earned 4.200 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 9th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 381.595 total points. Murdoch ranks 18th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 110.359 points earned so far this season.
