Erik Johansson (Karlstad, SWE) finished 5-1 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Johansson defeated Johan Nygren (Umea, SWE) 6-1, then won 9-2 against Olle Majiet (Ostersund, SWE) and 5-3 against Rasmus Wrana (Harnosand, SWE). Johansson won 6-4 against Gustav Kohn (Gavle, SWE), then won 6-3 against Johan Engqvist (Harnosand, SWE). Johansson went on to lose 6-5 against Henrik Shadman (Fyris, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Swedish Junior Championship, Johansson take home 5.486 world rankings points. For week of the event schedule, Johansson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
