Karina Aitken (Stirling, SCO) needed a tiebreaker to advance to the playoffs, Aitken finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Aitken defeated Scotland's Ellie Hamilton 8-4, then won 9-5 against Scotland's Lisa Davie. Aitken went on to lose 8-5 against Lesley Young (Stirling, SCO). Aitken lost 6-1 to Sophie Jackson (Sitrling, SCO) where Aitken responded with a 9-2 win over Kara Compton (Stranraer, SCO). Aitken won 8-2 against Amy Bryce (Dumfries, SCO). Aitken went on to lose 7-6 against Katie Murray (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Aitken earned 5.451 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Scottish Curling Junior Championships. For week of the event schedule, Aitken did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Aitken ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
