To advance to the championship game, Wrana won 6-4 over Anna Hasselborg (Stockholm, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2016 Swedish National Championship in Pitea, Sweden;
 
Wrana finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wrana lost 7-2 to Hasselborg, droppimg another game, 5-2 to Ostlund where Wrana responded with a 7-2 win over Tova Sundberg (Ostersund, SWE). Wrana went on to lose 7-2 against Margaretha Sigfridsson (Sundsvall, SWE). Wrana responded with a 6-5 win over Anette Norberg (Stocksund, SWE). Wrana won 7-5 against Karin Rudstrom (Gavle, SWE), then won 8-3 against Towe Lundman (Uppsala, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Swedish National Championship, Wrana take home 11.220 world rankings points, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 58th place overall with 84.356 total points. Wrana ranks 51st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 71.708 points earned so far this season.
