Cissi Ostlund (Karlstad, SWE) won 6-4 over Isabella Wrana (Stockholm, SWE) in the Final Ostlund advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the Swedish National Championship, held January 27 - 31, 2016 in Pitea, Sweden.

Ostlund are currently 6-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ostlund defeated Tova Sundberg (Ostersund, SWE) 6-4, then won 5-2 against Wrana and 7-6 against Anna Hasselborg (Stockholm, SWE). Ostlund won 6-5 against Karin Rudstrom (Gavle, SWE), then won 7-3 against Towe Lundman (Uppsala, SWE) and 9-2 against Margaretha Sigfridsson (Sundsvall, SWE). In their next game, Ostlund plays.

For winning the Swedish National Championship Championship title, Ostlund earned 14.280 world rankings points. Ostlund move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 11.586 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 28th overall with 163.605 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
