In their opening game, Galusha defeated Deb Stanley (Hay River, NT) 11-1, then won 12-3 against Judy Goucher (Hay River, NT) and 15-1 against Lora Browne (Fort Smith, NT). Galusha went on to lose 9-5 against Browne. Galusha responded with a 14-1 win over Goucher. Galusha won 10-2 against Stanley in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the NWT Scotties Championship Championship title, Galusha earned 2.625 world rankings points.
