Adam Casey (Summerside, PEI) finished 6-0 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Casey defeated Robert Campbell (Charlottetown, PEI) 6-3, then won 11-3 against Jamie Newson (Charlottetown, PEI) and 7-1 against Tyler Harris (Charlottetown, PEI). Casey won 7-6 against Newson, then won 8-2 against Tyler Smith (Crapaud, PEI) and 8-1 against Newson in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the PEI Tankard Championship title, Casey earned 5.775 world rankings points.
