Dropkin won 8-5 against Alex Leichter (Boston, MA), then won 9-4 against Hunter Clawson (Baltimore, MD) in their final qualifying round match.

Dropkin earned 18.562 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the USA Men's National Curling Championship, moving up 23 spots the World Ranking Standings into 77th place overall with 65.644 total points. Dropkin ranks 84th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 44.781 points earned so far this season.
