In their opening game, Corbett lost 8-7 to Brady Clark (Seattle, WA), then responded with a 9-6 win over Korey Dropkin (Blaine, USA). Corbett went on to lose 8-6 against Hunter Clawson (Baltimore, MD). Corbett lost 8-4 to Craig Brown (Blaine, USA) where Corbett responded with a 8-5 win over Heath McCormick (New York, NY). Corbett went on to lose 9-6 against John Shuster (Duluth, USA). Corbett responded with a 8-7 win over Alex Leichter (Boston, MA). Corbett went on to lose 8-7 against Pete Fenson (Blaine, USA). Corbett lost 12-5 to Todd Birr (Blaine, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

Corbett earned 4.641 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 104th place overall with 43.844 total points. Corbett ranks 137th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 18.994 points earned so far this season.
