Brothers finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brothers defeated Colleen Pinkney (Truro, NS) 10-3, then won 8-4 against Christie Gamble (Halifax, NS) and 6-5 against Emily Dwyer (Halifax, NS). Brothers went on to lose 7-5 against Arsenault. Brothers responded with a 7-6 win over Julie McEvoy (Halifax, NS). Brothers went on to lose 8-7 against Breen. Brothers responded with a 8-6 win over Colleen Jones (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Nova Scotia Scotties Championship title, Brothers earned 11.550 world rankings points, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 58th place overall with 80.260 total points.
