Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton, NB) won 7-6 over Melissa Adams (Fredericton, NB) in the Final of the New Brunswick Scotties Final 8, held January 27 - 31, 2016 at the Curl Moncton in Moncton, Canada.

Robichaud finished 3-1 in the 5-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Robichaud defeated Sarah Mallais (Saint John, NB) 8-4, then won 10-3 against Shelly Graham (Fredericton, NB). Robichaud went on to lose 8-7 against Shannon Tatlock (Moncton, NB). Robichaud responded with a 9-8 win over Adams in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the New Brunswick Scotties Final 8 Championship title, Robichaud earned 4.725 world rankings points. For week 24 of the event schedule, Robichaud did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Robichaud ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
