Perron responded with a 8-4 win over Wayne Tallon (Fredericton, NB). Perron won 5-4 against Jason Roach (Saint John, NB), then won 7-4 against James Grattan (Oromocto, NB) and 8-2 against Rene Comeau (Fredericton, NB). Perron went on to lose 7-4 against Odishaw in their final qualifying round match.
