Kim Dolan (Charlottetown, PEI) lost 5-4 to Birt in the Final of the PEI Scotties, held January 15 - 18, 2016 in Montague, Prince Edward Island. To advance to the championship game, Dolan won 8-6 over Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI) in the semifinals of the 2016 PEI Scotties in Montague, Prince Edward Island;

Dolan finished 4-2 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dolan defeated Tammy Dewar (Montague, PEI) 7-4, then went on to lose 8-5 against Birt. Dolan responded with a 8-3 win over Lisa Jackson (Charlottetown, PEI). Dolan went on to lose 10-4 against Birt. Dolan responded with a 9-4 win over Shelly Bradley (Charlottetown, PEI). Dolan won 7-5 against Jackson in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the PEI Scotties, Dolan take home 4.538 world rankings points, moving up 26 spots the World Ranking Standings into 162nd place overall with 11.313 total points. Dolan ranks 174th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.448 points earned so far this season.
