To advance to the championship game, Reiser won 7-1 over Beth Bohlman (Grand Forks, ND) in the semifinals of the 2016 North Dakota Club Playdowns in Grand Forks, North Dakota;
 
Reiser finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Reiser defeated Mary Jaster (Grafton, ND) 11-5, then went on to lose 8-7 against Bohlman. Reiser responded with a 14-3 win over Ann Podoll (Fargo, ND) in their final qualifying round match.
