Fenson won 5-3 against Nicholas Connolly (Seattle, WA), then won 6-5 against Robert Shlimovitz (Portage, WI). Fenson went on to lose 10-5 against Josh Moore (Duluth, MN). Fenson lost 9-3 to Hunter Clawson (Clarksville, MD) in their final qualifying round match.
