Chris Louie (Calgary, AB) won 7-2 over Celeste Gauthier (Cochrane, AB) in the Final of the CWC Pre-Playdown Bantam Bonspiel, held January 2 - 3, 2016 in Calgary, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Louie won 7-5 over Max Kobylnyk (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals
 
Louie finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Louie defeated Gauthier 8-7, then won 8-1 against Connor Boudreau (Calgary, AB) and 9-1 against Justine Hagey (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
