In their opening game, Dang lost 5-3 to Katie Primrose (Calgary, AB), then responded with a 4-2 win over Kassidy Varga (Calgary, AB). Dang won 9-4 against Alberta's Harrison MacKinnon, then won 9-4 against Jared Palanuik (Black Diamond, AB) and 4-3 against Primrose in their final qualifying round match.
