Tanner Horgan (Copper Cliff, NONT) won 6-3 over Josh Vanderburg (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) in the Final Horgan advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the Northern Ontario Junior Men, held January 2 - 5, 2016 in Kakabeka Falls, Ontario.
 
Horgan finished 7-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Horgan defeated Connor Mangoff (Thunder Bay, ON) 18-1, then won 8-2 against Aaron Souliere (Thessalon, NONT) and 11-3 against Nicholas Lemieux (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Horgan won 10-1 against Matt Roberts (Kakabeka Falls, NONT), then won 8-4 against Zach Warkentin (Keewatin, NONT) and 10-4 against Vanderburg. Horgan won 8-2 against Ian Fudge (Thunder Bay, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
