Hersikorn lost 10-6 to Alex Robichaud (Moncton, NB) where Hersikorn responded with a 8-5 win over Felix Asselin (Montreal, QC). Hersikorn went on to lose 6-3 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB). Hersikorn responded with a 5-1 win over Doug Kee (Ottawa, ON). Hersikorn went on to lose 7-6 against Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Hersikorn earned 2.061 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week of the event schedule, Hersikorn did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hersikorn ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
