Tyler Smith (Crapaud, PEI) lost 6-3 to Matthew MacLean (O'Leary, PEI) in the Final of the PEI Pepsi Junior Men, held December 27 - 31, 2015 at the Western Community Curling Club in Alberton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Smith won 5-3 over Alex MacFadyen (Summerside, PEI) in the semifinals of the 2016 PEI Pepsi Junior Men in Alberton, Prince Edward Island, Canada;
 
Smith finished 3-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Smith lost 7-6 to MacLean, then responded with a 10-6 win over MacFadyen. Smith won 7-5 against Leslie Noye (Alberton, PEI), then won 9-2 against MacLean. Smith went on to lose 6-4 against MacFadyen in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week of the event schedule, Smith did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Smith ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
