MacFadyen finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacFadyen lost 6-4 to Leslie Noye (Alberton, PEI), then responded with a 13-1 win over Devin Schut (Cornwall, PEI). MacFadyen went on to lose 10-6 against Smith. MacFadyen responded with a 8-5 win over Schut. MacFadyen won 8-5 against Noye, then won 7-4 against Matthew MacLean (O'Leary, PEI) and 6-4 against Smith in their final qualifying round match.
