Korea's Min Ji Kim won 9-6 against Dorottya Palancsa (Budapest, HUN), then won 5-2 against Elena Stern (Luzern, SUI) and 7-6 against Therese Westman (Stockholm, SWE). Korea's Min Ji Kim went on to lose 9-4 against Mary Fay (Chester, CAN). Korea's Min Ji Kim lost 7-6 to Cory Christensen (Blaine, USA) where Korea's Min Ji Kim responded with a 9-6 win over Dilsat Yildiz (Erzurum, TUR) in their final qualifying round match.
