To advance to the championship game, Robichaud won 8-6 over Jack Smeltzer-McCausland (Fredericton, NB) in the semifinals of the 2016 New Brunswick Junior Men in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada;
 
Robichaud finished 4-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Robichaud lost 10-4 to Liam Marin (Saint John, NB), then responded with a 10-2 win over Josh Vaughan (Saint John, NB). Robichaud won 8-1 against Trevor Crouse (Fredericton, NB), then won 5-4 against Marin and 5-4 against Rene Comeau (Fredericton, NB). Robichaud went on to lose 8-6 against MacCabe in their final qualifying round match.
