Kim Link (East St. Paul, MB) lost 9-8 to Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the AMCC Ladies Open, held January 7 - 10, 2016 at the Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Link won 8-6 over Joelle Brown (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals
 
Link finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Link lost 9-7 to Robertson, then responded with a 7-4 win over Barb Spencer (Winnipeg , MB). Link won 5-4 against Shannon Birchard (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
