In their opening game, Tuck Jr. defeated Damien Villard (Cambridge, ON) 8-4, then won 8-7 against Mark Kean (Stoney Creek, ON) and 9-4 against Jon St. Denis (Stouffville, ON). Tuck Jr. won 8-2 against Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
