Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) finished 3-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ferris defeated Eric Bradey (St. Catharines, ON) 5-2, then won 7-1 against Rob Retchless (Toronto, ON). Ferris went on to lose 8-2 against Wayne Tuck Jr. (Brantford, ON). Ferris responded with a 7-6 win over Retchless in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Tankard Challenge Round, Ferris take home 15.881 world rankings points. Ferris move up 7 spots after posting a net gain of 15.656 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 38th overall with 120.208 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
