Codey Maus (London, ON) finished 1-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Maus lost 9-8 to Rob Retchless (Toronto, ON), then responded with a 7-3 win over Damien Villard (Cambridge, ON). Maus went on to lose 10-4 against Ryan LeDrew (Sarnia, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Maus earned 0.722 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 22 of the event schedule, Maus did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 39th to 40th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 118.461 total points. Maus ranks 37th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 82.690 points earned so far this season.
