Scott Bailey (Toronto, ON) finished 4-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bailey defeated Ryan LeDrew (Sarnia, ON) 7-1, then went on to lose 9-8 against Brent Ross (Harriston, ON). Bailey responded with a 8-4 win over Wayne Tuck Jr. (Brantford, ON). Bailey won 7-4 against LeDrew, then won 6-5 against Ross in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Tankard - Region 4, Bailey take home 10.313 world rankings points, remaining in 23rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 6.853 after improving upon their best so far this season.
