Jordan Chandler (Sudbury, NONT) lost 5-0 to Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) in the Final of the Northern Ontario Travelers Championship, held February 10 - 14, 2016 at the North Bay Granite Curling Club in North Bay, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Chandler won 7-4 over Colin Koivula (Thunder Bay, NONT) in the semifinals of the 2016 Northern Ontario Travelers Championship in North Bay, Ontario, Canada;
Chandler finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Chandler defeated Dylan Johnston (Thunder Bay, ON) 10-4, then won 6-4 against Robbie Gordon (Sudbury, NONT) and 6-2 against Patrick Gelinas (Mattawa, NONT). Chandler went on to lose 7-2 against Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT). Chandler lost 8-3 to Jacobs where Chandler responded with a 6-5 win over Mike Assad (Geraldton, NONT). Chandler won 7-0 against Koivula in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Northern Ontario Travelers Championship, Chandler take home 8.498 world rankings points, moving up 24 spots the World Ranking Standings into 123rd place overall with 35.653 total points. Chandler ranks 122nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 25.132 points earned so far this season.
