In their opening game, Wark defeated Stephanie Prinse (Chilliwack, BC) 8-4, then went on to lose 7-6 against Diane Gushulak (New Westminster, BC). Wark responded with a 7-3 win over Amanda Russett (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the BC Scotties - Open Event #2, Wark take home 4.538 world rankings points, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 91st place overall with 34.738 total points. Wark ranks 93rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 20.888 points earned so far this season.
