In their opening game, Kean lost 8-4 to Megan Balsdon (Mississauga, ON), then responded with a 8-6 win over Kerry Lackie (Kitchener, ON). Kean won 8-2 against Katie Cottrill (Listowel, ON), then won 6-5 against Balsdon in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Scotties Qualifier, Kean take home 6.188 world rankings points, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 57th place overall with 72.358 total points. Kean ranks 49th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 64.431 points earned so far this season.
