Auld went on to lose 6-3 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON). Auld responded with a 8-4 win over Jenn Hanna (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Scotties Qualifier, Auld take home 16.302 world rankings points. Auld move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 15.67 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 42nd overall with 106.127 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
