To advance to the championship game, DeJong won 8-4 over Tom Adams (Dawson Creek, BC) in the semifinals of the 2015 Dawson Creek Cash Spiel - Challenge in Dawson Creek, British Columbia; and won 9-4 over Doug Small (Clairmont, AB) in the quarterfinals.
 
DeJong finished 3-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, DeJong defeated Stefan Pavlis (Dawson Creek, BC) 7-3, then went on to lose 9-7 against Cliff Kostiuk (Nampa, AB). DeJong lost 7-6 to Mark Luckwell (Grande Prairie, AB) where DeJong responded with a 7-4 win over Oleh Dutka (Dawson Creek, BC). DeJong won 6-5 against Bob Cooper (Fort St. John, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
