Edin went on to lose 7-5 against Aku Kauste (Helsinki, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Le Gruyere European Curling Championships Championship title, Edin earned 38.698 world rankings points. Edin move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 32.527 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 5th overall with 579.635 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Edin ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 234.525 points earned so far this season.
