De Cruz responded with a 10-6 win over Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Le Gruyere European Curling Championships, De Cruz take home 30.406 world rankings points. De Cruz move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 28.182 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 13th overall with 266.933 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
