Ostlund went on to lose 12-9 against Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS). Ostlund responded with a 8-6 win over Alina Paetz (Zurich, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Ostlund earned 7.108 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 29th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 143.401 total points. Ostlund ranks 23rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 91.361 points earned so far this season.
