Scoffin finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scoffin defeated Todd Maxwell (Dawson Creek, BC) 4-3, then won 8-1 against Graham Powell (Grande Prairie, AB) and 8-0 against Scott Webb (Peace River, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Dawson Creek Cash Spiel, Scoffin take home 8.250 world rankings points along with the $1,800CDN prize, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 81st place overall with 51.100 total points. Scoffin ranks 74th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 33.164 points earned so far this season.
