Epping lost 8-6 to Pat Simmons (Calgary, AB) where Epping responded with a 8-6 win over Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). Epping won 9-4 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Epping earned 52.444 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling.
