Shae Bevan (Winnipeg, MB) lost 6-4 to Alexandra Friesen (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Morris MJCT Women's Bonspiel, held March 24 - 26, 2017 in Morris, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, Bevan won 3-2 over Rebecca Lamb (Stonewall, MB) in the semifinals of the 2017 Morris MJCT Women's Bonspiel in Morris, Manitoba;
 
Bevan finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bevan defeated Brooke Friesen (Winkler, MB) 6-4, then won 5-3 against Cheyenne Ehnes (Winnipeg, MB) and 9-2 against Lauren Beaudry (Winnipeg, MB). Bevan went on to lose 6-3 against Friesen in their final qualifying round match.
