Hayden Forrester (Winnipeg, MB) won 9-2 over Jordan Peters (Morris, MB) in the Final of the Morris MJCT Men's Bonspiel, held March 24 - 26, 2017 in Morris, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, Forrester won 7-2 over Joshua Friesen (Morris, MB) in the semifinals of the 2017 Morris MJCT Men's Bonspiel in Morris, Manitoba; and won 6-2 over Carter Watkins (Swan River, MB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Forrester finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Forrester defeated Jack Hykaway (Winnipeg, MB) 8-4, then won 8-5 against Justin Fontaine (Winnipeg, MB) and 5-2 against Zachary Wasylik (Morris, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
