Doran won 9-2 against Matt Roberts (Thunder Bay, ON), then won 8-7 against Ben Mikkelsen (Thunder Bay, ON) and 3-2 against Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT). Doran won 5-4 against Colin Koivula (Thunder Bay, ON). Doran went on to lose 8-3 against Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, ON). Doran lost 7-6 to Al Hackner (Thunder Bay, ON) where Doran responded with a 8-4 win over McCarville in their final qualifying round match.

Doran earned 6.916 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the TBaytel Mens Major League of Curling, moving up 327 spots the World Ranking Standings into 280th place overall with 6.916 total points. Doran ranks 236th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.916 points earned so far this season.
